cook a whole chicken .while the chicken is cooking put any veg u want with it in a oven proof ish and pop in the ovenon the next shelf down from the chicken . when ur chciken has been in the oven for a hour put some potaotes in he same dish as the chicken is cooking in next to the veg dish. put another dish with rice in and cover with water remmber to check the rice so as dont boil dry top up if u have too. then on top of the stove boil some potatoes to mash .when everythink is cooked divide the chciken into 3 plate up chicken roast potaotes and veg add gravy if u want it . 2nd lot of chciken with the rice mix the rice and chicken together add a tin of tomatoes a sprinkle of basil and a sprinke of and put onto a plate
3rd lot of chicken mix with some gravy and some of the veg u have cooked put this is a oven proof dish and put the mash on top making it into a shepherd pie mad with chicken its really nice and different from normal shepherd pirs . now all u have to do when the meals have gone cold is cling rap them pop them in the fridge and for the next few days all u have to do is pop them into the mircowave or u can freeze them and use as and when wanted
these 3 meals will cost just under a fiver that works out at approx 1.66 per day and u have a meal at hand
